GLAMPING..

As we move forward in the year many peoples minds move into holiday mode and we start to think about having a well deserved break, one of the popular holidays that seems to have popped up through out Britain is Glamping. Some people may be confused to what this actually entails..

The word “glamping” first appeared in the United Kingdom in 2005 and was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2016.The word is new, but the concept that “glamping” connotes, that of luxurious tent-living or luxury accommodation in the countryside.

Could be bell tents, safari tents, tipis, off grid wooden building or shepherds huts.

Why has Glamping become so popular?

In an article by www.goworldtravel.com they mention that people enjoy being close to nature without all the uncomfortable hassles of camping, don’t know about you but I would much rather sleep in a bed, cosy and warm than sleep on a hard floor with the roof blowing around me freezing cold. ( I’m sure this does suit a lot of people, but I would def prefer little bit more comfort whilst enjoying nature)

With this in mind and that we are coming out of a stressful year I thought I’d put together a Glamping Blog of some businesses who enjoy using our luxury led candles.

Adele was originally inspired by a glamping holiday on a welsh farm and this led to building up their own plan of running a similar business on their family farm,
